I have worked in mental health since in 1986. I also spent time working at home raising my children. In 2003 my husband died suddenly. My boys were 12, 9, and 5. I navigated grief and loss, for myself, for my sons, and for their grandparents. Also starting in 1986, I have been a dedicated yoga student. Mindful movement, and mediation integral pieces of the resources I have to offer to clients. With these tools, individuals can develop better emotional self-regulation skills. I am trained as a yoga therapist. I am also trained to teach Bikram Yoga and an individual, heart-based style of Vini yoga.
