Hi my name is Simone Penuelas and I attend Azusa Pacific University where I am studying to achieve my BA in Psychology. I am also a student athlete for I play on APU's softball team. Thriving both on the field and in academia, I possess a unique blend of discipline, teamwork, and time management skills honed through balancing athletic commitments with academic excellence. Serving as an assistant coach for softball further sharpened my leadership abilities, strategic thinking, and communication skills, enhancing my capacity to mentor and inspire others effectively. Additionally, I have dedicated over 800 volunteer hours to The National Charity League (NCL), a mother-daughter community service organization, fostering a deep sense of social responsibility and empathy. This experience has fortified my passion for community engagement while nurturing my exceptional people skills and ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
