Sindie McCourt

I started by lesson planning for one subject for a week. I then moved on to two subjects, and gradually took over all subjects. I planned lessons for each subject, led the day to day activities from attendance and lunch count to transitioning to special groups. I was responsible for all operations in the classroom as well as any discipline, parental concerns, student concerns and building relationships with my parents, co-workers and students.

I worked with a cooperating teacher in the kindergarten class. I was responsible for creating lesson plans for small group and whole class lessons in reading. I observed parent/teacher conferences and participated in the daily routine created in the classroom.
