Provide safe nursing care to GI outpatients and inpatients.

• Assist in the admission process of assessing patients and IV starts in pre-op; discharge of patients after meeting baseline Aldrete score.
• Responsible for administering moderate sedation, under physician sedation plan guidelines.
• Assist Anesthesia in TIVA and GA cases.
• Knowledgeable in EGD/ Colonoscopies: biopsies, snares, dilation (balloons, Maloney/ Savory). Foreign body removals, control of bleeding; band ligation's (RBL and variceal), capsule endoscopy, BRAVO study.
• Assumed charge role position and preceptor role.

• Responsible for all aspect's of primary nursing for pre and post bypass, valvular and heart transplants.
• Responsible for patients with cardiac assist devices.
• Assumed charge role position of this rapid paced ICU with highly acute patients.

• Responsible for all aspects of primary nursing care to cardiac patients, including those awaiting heart transplants and those pre and post cardiac catheterizations.
• Assumed charge role and preceptor position.
