Responsible for the off-shift supervision and direction of all the nursing units within the hospital.

Oversees the operations of the Emergency Department, cardiovascular surgery, critical care unit, cardiac catheterization lab, in patient and outpatient surgical services, medical-surgical, rehabilitation, psychiatric services and bed placement and transfer of patients throughout the shift.

Acts as a liaison for patients and family members and communicates any pertinent concerns or issues to the Administrator on call.

• Skills included assisting invasive cardiologist with Catheterization procedures and insertion and monitoring of intra-aortic balloon pump.
