I am currently in my third season as an Apprentice with Eugene Ballet and I am eager to use my experience and knowledge of ballet to educate and support the next generation of dancers. Thanks to my time in various training programs, as well as working as a summer RA, I strive to create a positive teaching environment and a safe space for students to try new things, learn and grow into their fullest potential.
Currently teaching high-school aged dancers ballet and pointe. Also given the opportunity to teach ballet variations as well as set act 2 of Swan Lake for their spring performance.
Currently subbing around the Eugene area for a variety of age ranges including pre-ballet, intermediate/advanced ballet and pointe as well as adult ballet.
Was hired as a guest teacher for Dayton Ballet School during their youth summer program in 2023. During this time I taught beginner ballet as well as intermediate ballet and variations.
Taught a stretch and conditioning class for younger dancers as well as a pre-ballet class. Was also given the opportunity to choreograph and set a piece on my class to perform in their spring showcase.
I am currently a certified teacher for Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) and I have and occasionally teach privately.
I worked as a pointe shoe fitter for three years and this extensive knowledge continues to help me when working with pre-pointe and pointe dancers. I have the skills to offer assistance with any pointe shoe problems as well as make recommendations and find solutions.
The past few summers I have worked as an RA with Pacific Northwest Ballet and been able to provide support and assistance to aspiring dancers.
