• Care Coordination and Support: Act as the link between physicians and clinical nurses, coordinate with the medical team to ensure optimal patient care, and provide on-duty support to clinical nurses both clinically and operationally.
• Operational and Quality Responsibilities: Manage bed allocation in collaboration with the capacity management team, introduce and disseminate updated policies and procedures, and lead quality improvement projects to enhance clinical practice and patient outcomes.

• Recognition and Advancement: I was promoted from Clinical Nurse to Clinical Nurse Leader within six months of joining Sidra, reflecting leadership potential and early contributions to the unit.
• Patient and Family Engagement: Created a comprehensive family orientation booklet to support patient and family education, while also enabling families to track treatment progress and engage more fully in the care process.
• Quality and System Improvement: Led to healthcare system improvements, including the creation and implementation of an acuity tool and the unit-based chemotherapy guidelines. Educated the junior nurses and signed them off on their chemotherapy competencies. Chaired the Unit-Based Council (UBC) from 2018–2020 and continued as a facilitator until 2022, fostering shared governance and collaborative decision-making.
• Staff Development: In addition to these leadership responsibilities, I oversaw and supported a designated group of clinical nurses by monitoring yearly goals and conducting performance evaluations. • At the American University of Beirut Medical Center, I provided advanced clinical care in oncology and surgical settings. My responsibilities included administering medications, chemotherapy, immunotherapy (IVIG, Rituximab), blood and blood product transfusions, and nutritional support through enteral feeding and total parenteral nutrition (TPN). I also managed central lines and access ports, performed ECGs, and monitored patients using CP scopes to ensure accurate and timely interventions.
• I developed strong expertise in patient assessment and management, including holistic assessments, sepsis and fever/neutropenia protocols, pain management with PCA/NCA, pressure ulcer prevention, fall risk management, and oral mucositis care. I delivered comprehensive pre- and post-operative care, handled drains, and supported patients through palliative care.
• Beyond direct patient care, I played an active role in education and mentorship. I precepted nursing students during their rotations, guided patient and family education throughout hospitalization and at discharge, and consistently applied evidence-based practices to promote safety and quality outcomes. These experiences strengthened my clinical expertise and reinforced my role as both a caregiver and educator.

• At CAHL Elderly Home, I was responsible for administrative and operational functions, including the introduction and dissemination of policies and procedures, ordering medical supplies and medications, and managing medical stock. I also contributed to healthcare system improvements and supported patient care through wound management, palliative care, and fracture management, while providing physical therapy to residents with paralysis (monoplegia and hemiplegia).
• In parallel, I placed strong emphasis on staff growth and professional development. I delivered career development and educational sessions on critical topics such as pressure ulcer prevention, nutrition and dehydration, and infection control. By equipping staff with practical knowledge and updated practices, I enhanced both the quality of care delivered to residents and the overall competence of the team.
