A compassionate, astute professional skilled in managing medical emergencies while fostering positive relationships with patients, and the medical team while managing a highly demanding but poorly resourced medical center. My diligent work ethic, team player attitude, hard working nature, respect for authority and passion for proper patient care makes me an ideal candidate for the post with an added advantage of experience in varied work environments ranging from primary care clinics, and district level hospitals to tertiary level hospitals and now the cruise ships with 3 and half of the five years served as a Senior Physician and also having worked contracts as the only Physician on board. The advent of COVID-19 was another learning experience as the pause in operations occurred at the beginning of one of my contracts and required adaptability, flexibility and constant review of new knowledge so as physicians on board we are able to recognize, monitor and manage the pandemic while adhering to the ever changing public health protocol imposed on the ships at the time. A task I took with both hands inspite the outbreaks we had on board and limited resources. Good listener and a keen student of good communication. Organized, detail-oriented, amenable to learning being corrected and sharing knowledge.
