2-Construction supervision of HVAC/FF works for Nurses Dormitories (Male & Female) buildings & Patient Apartment Buildings (9 Floors each) at Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute (PKLI)-Package-C, Lahore

(Fire-Fighting: All the buildings shall be equipped with fire sprinklers & fire hose cabinets reels.

HVAC: The Nurses Dormitories served with VRF system whereas Patient Apartment building with Chillers (350TR x 3) based centralized HVAC system comprising of 10 No. AHUs & FCUs and duct distribution system. (PKR 1.565 billion for MEP Scope only)

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Top and Detailed Supervision of HVAC/FF works at Project Sites.
• Technical Scrutiny of the equipment at Site and at manufacturer premises.
• Carried out Site Quality Inspections for executed works (HVAC/FF, Mechanical, Electrical & associated Civil works) in compliance to project specifications, approved drawings, ITPs and method statements.
• Carried out installation, testing & commissioning of mechanical systems & equipment.
• Review of shop drawings at execution stage and as-built drawings after completion submitted by the contractors.
• Review and approval of technical submittal submitted by the contractor.
• Coordination of services and equipment with other disciplines at design & project execution stage.
• Development of Electrical Control & Distribution Diagrams.
• Estimation & verification of Contractor's Material/equipment claims for Non-BOQ Items in order to proceed for variation orders.
• Taking measurements at site for verification of contractor's IPCs.
• Supervised installation, testing & commissioning of mechanical construction including; cooling water system, cranes, cooling towers, HVAC and fire-fighting & fire extinguishing system, and Pre-engineered steel structures at 1230 MW combined cycle power plant Project and, 969MW Neelum Jhelum Hydroelectric Power Project.
• Ensures at site, health and safety guidelines are being met as per project's requirements.
• Prepares daily, weekly and monthly progress reports of the project.
• Generates punch lists after completion and re-scheduling of project lagging activities to ensure its timely completion.
