Summary

I have been volunteering with autistic children since I was 17 and have had success helping them learn to communicate with others, regulate negative behavior and adapt to the world around them. Even before volunteering with the autistic population, I learned some of these skills from a young age by helping my parents take care of my younger brother who has level 3 autism.
