Billing Coordinator: Private Duty Nursing & SPOTs

  • Onboard new Providers and ODHS staff to PDN billing process; provide technical training in MMIS (Medicaid Medical Information System) and other relevant systems
  • Onboard new CIIS SPOTs cardholders, provide technical training, and continue to deliver training to staff and providers regarding new and/or changes to policy and procedure
  • Review PDN billing submissions for completion and compliance with established criteria; authorize payment or initiate corrective action to resolve issue
  • Review SPOTs reconciliation packets from cardholders for completion and compliance with OFS rules; initiate corrective action as necessary

Other Duties Include

  • Maintain Private Duty Nursing records for CIIS
  • Explain and Clarify agency/program/Medicaid rules, processes, and procedures to internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain Qualified Entity Designee certification (current through 2025), and Perform pre-enrollment background checks
  • Support management team with notetaking, report creation, scheduling, and other secretarial tasks
  • Support administrative team with record management, office coordination, and projects as necessary

  • Spend 2 weeks on Mt. Hood to deliver this program each year; as well as put in more than 1000 hours of preparation into staff development and staff trainings
  • Helped create Association to protect NYLT resources and ensure this program continues to be available
