Spartan Leader
As a Spartan Leader for Michigan State University’s Orientation Office, I will guide incoming students and their families through the transition to campus life by presenting on academic expectations, university policies, and MSU’s core values, including diversity and inclusion. I will facilitate group discussions to build community and engagement, provide support and resources to new students, and engage with them through both in-person and virtual platforms. Working alongside fellow leaders and staff, I will contribute to creating a welcoming, inclusive environment, while demonstrating adaptability, professionalism, and a strong commitment to teamwork. I will also complete training focused on leadership, communication, and problem-solving to prepare for this role.
