My main responsibilities include;

• Paint application. Using my 8 years of experience to properly prepare various parts for each step of the multi-coat paint process, working with application specific spray and cure equipment.
• Adjusting and recording mix ratios for paint colors or other applicable coatings. More specifically, adjusting existing tint mixtures in paint colors to more appropriately match a customers color sample. As well as troubleshoot and find solutions to issues with coating adhesion or chemical incompatibility.
• Detailed paint mask application for custom or production design work. Including low quantity production designs for sports teams on safety equipment, one-off designs for high end architectural developments, and custom automotive paint finishes.

Additional responsibilities include;

• Maintenance of painting equipment and paint booth. Involving electric motor swaps on 480v natural air booth systems, filter swaps, pully and belt changes for paint booth motors, spray equipment rebuilds, and desiccant system maintenance.
• Replacement, installment, or maintenance of hydro-dip equipment. Such as plumbing water circulation systems for heated water tanks, and water pump installation or maintenance.
• Repairs of shop tooling or equipment. Varying between troubleshooting alarms from paint booth or air compressor logic systems, welding repairs to brackets and tooling, scheduled maintenance on industrial air compressor systems, machining or fabricating parts for equipment repairs or instillations, and temporary repairs to equipment for continued production until proper repairs can be made.

• Operated forklifts and pallet jacks to transport lumber and materials from truck deliveries, inventory location changes, and customer pickup.
• Handled inventory management through regular stock checks, material deliveries to the store, and special work orders for customers.
• Maintained cleanliness and organization of yard, optimizing workflow for team efficiency.
• Assisted customers in locating products and providing knowledge on lumber, construction material, and stone selection.
