Work History

Children's Church Leader

Journey Church
Loganville, USA
08.2020 - 01.2026
  • I've been a group leader several times, which means that I'm in charge of a group of students for the week or weekend, and I try to teach and lead them in a way that shows them how God has worked in my life and how they themselves should pursue God and allow God to work in their lives.
  • I've also been a game coordinator for the students. I essentially created and planned out the games for the students to play during their designated free time and oversaw them as they played the games to make sure that everything went well, and that there were no issues with the students or the games themselves.
  • I arrived early to set up for daily activities and stayed late to clean up and prepare for the following day.
  • I've worked at my hometown church, as well as a few other churches, for their student events. During these events:
  • I still get asked to come back and help out every year, and I've been doing so for 5, going on 6, years now.

Youth Ministry Intern

Northridge Christian Church
Milledgeville, USA
05.2025 - 11.2025

Being a youth ministry intern for six months, I learned and grew a lot, both in my faith and as a person.

  • Mondays were mainly meetings that reviewed everything that went on in the past week, discussing what went right, what went wrong, and what could be done better. After review, we would preview what was going on that week, discuss what we needed for each event, and then get everything in order or planned to be in order for those.
  • Tuesdays and Wednesdays were spent preparing for the Wednesday night youth group. I made the schedule for the event, reached out to parents and students via email, communicated with student and adult leaders about who needed to be there and what they needed to do, and then gathered everything that we needed for that Wednesday night, such as supplies, props, or any visuals for the sermon, and ordered pizza for the students.
  • Wednesday nights, I was in charge of games and hosting, so I would put out all of the games for the students to play before service. Then, at the start of the service, I would gather everyone to their seats, greet everyone, and host games for the students to play. I also had a few student leaders whom I was coaching on how to do the game/host job. Occasionally, I would preach instead of the Youth Pastor, and I did so several times over the course of the fall school semester.
  • Thursdays were spent preparing for the Sunday night youth group. Making the schedule for the event, and scheduling emails to outreach the event via email to parents and students. I also reflected on the Wednesday night we just had and made adjustments to the game or the service if I saw areas that could or needed to be improved.
  • Sundays were spent at the church almost all day. I got there early in the mornings to be there for our Sunday service run-throughs and meetings. As a staff member of the church, we needed to serve for one service, and attend another service. I served in guest services and greeted people, especially my students, in the hallways as they entered the church building.
  • Sunday nights were essentially a copy and paste of Wednesday nights, just with different students and leaders, so I had the same responsibilities as the game and host team coach. However, on Sunday nights, I helped to lead a group of 10th-grade boys, and we would have small group time to discuss the sermon we heard and how to apply it to our lives.

That was what went on during a regular week. During the summer and fall, we had a few camps and retreats that we took the students to. I helped to organize those as well.

  • I, along with the rest of the youth ministry team, helped come up with the theme, book of Bible verses, small group questions, and visual imagery props for the retreats we went on.
  • I drove the vans, called the van dealerships to get the vans that we needed for the week, and contacted the activity places (one was a trampoline park, and the other was white water rafting) that we were going to on our free day at camp. I sorted all of those waivers and contracts beforehand, as well as communicated to parents what we would be doing.
  • I took the roster of students going and organized them into vans, cars, rooms, and cabins for the week or weekend, as well as assigning them their respective leaders.
  • I went shopping for snacks, water, and supplies that we would need for the week, and preorders food for the days and nights that we would need it.
  • I also made the schedule for the retreats that we went on, with detailed but tentative timestamps for when and where we were going to be, and what we were going to be doing throughout the day.

Delivery Driver/Front of House

Chick-fil-A Restaurants
Milledgeville, USA
04.2024 - 04.2025
  • First, I would check that the order went through to the kitchen and then handle front counter tasks until my batch of deliveries was all ready to go out.
  • Double-checked orders for completeness and accuracy, loaded them into appropriate bags, and prepared them for delivery.
  • The delivery process itself was simple. We had an app that batched the orders together, and then gave us the best route possible for delivery. I'd drive the route to the customer, and then hand it off to them, or leave it at the door, according to their preferences.
  • Maintained delivery vehicles in good condition through regular cleaning, fueling, and reporting maintenance issues to team lead.
  • Mainly, I was responsible for restocking whatever the FOH needed, and if I was at a station, it was either drinks or the dessert station, making whatever was needed for customers.
  • If FOH didn't need anything, and all the stations were manned, I made sure that the behind-the-counter space was cleaned and organized. I swept the floors, wiped down the counters and table markers, and took out the trash.
  • If the area behind the counter was clean, then I cleaned up the dining area. Wiping down tables and windows, sweeping and mopping the floors, throwing things left behind away, and taking out the trash.
  • Assisted with taking orders and bagging items as needed to support front counter operations.
  • Delivered orders promptly to customers, ensuring satisfaction and accuracy. of orders from the CFA app and managed catering requests efficiently.
  • In downtime between deliveries, or while waiting for orders to be finished, I worked at the front counter.

Back of House Team Member

Chicken Salad Chick
Loganville, USA
06.2020 - 04.2021
  • Ensured kitchen cleanliness and organized appliances for easy accessibility and readiness.
  • Make sure everything is fully stocked, such as bread, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, bacon, soups, mac and cheese, cookies, etc.
  • Restocked items and prepared extras to meet demand during busy periods.
  • Supported front of house team by addressing their needs to maintain efficiency.
  • I mainly worked the sandwich line, where I'd make the orders for the customers and send them out to expo.
  • While working the line, during any breaks between orders, I'd sweep and wipe down my area to make sure it was clean.
  • During breaks in orders, I'd also stock up on anything I was low on, and if what I needed was out or wasn't prepped, I'd prep it real fast for future use.
  • Cleared dishes promptly to maintain a clean workspace and prevent backlog.
  • I'd wipe down and deep clean all surfaces, do any dishes that needed to be done, and sweep and mop the floors so that everything was nice and clean for the next morning.
  • I'd also check the walk-in and fridge for anything that needed to be thrown out, and then throw it out.
  • Then I'd take out all the trash and recycling to the dumpster.
  • If it didn't look like there was enough chicken salad for the next day, then I'd make a few batches so the morning shift had what they needed for the morning.
  • While working at CSC, I would either work the morning shift or the afternoon shift. Sometimes, I would even cover both shifts in which I opened and closed the store.
  • Prepared kitchen and dining area for service by organizing supplies and equipment.
