POSITION MISSION:

To directly support GM, Team, Tokyo HQ and APBU office in fulfilling the accounting and financial activities of Mitsui Pakistan offices.

The mission includes but is not limited to the operation of Accounts and reporting of rock-solid accounts in a timely manner, internal controls, tax, cash, bank, independent internal audit management, and collaborating with other offices and stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports as per guidelines.

Coordinate accounts and finance-related matters with all relevant internal and external stakeholders fostering a strong compliance culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: [ Responsibility, task, or duty ]

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors and banks to ensure that all financial statements are prepared on time and properly reconciled.
  • To conduct financial and accounting activities efficiently and precisely including preparing of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports (such as monthly expense reports and quarterly expense forecast) for onward submission to HQ (TKZAK) and bi-annual reporting to AP related to internal audit of expense and asset. T
  • To ensure compliance with all internal and external laws and regulations by strictly following the internal approval process related to all financial expenses and payments.
  • To review ways of working to ensure first-time quality accounting/reporting.
  • To show good synergy among Team to promote “One Mitsui”
  • To propose to GM various constructive ideas proactively for making business operations smoothly and effectively
  • Liaise, communicate and consult with PICs of respective areas in all the offices.
  • Communicate, share and discuss issues with related departments within the Financial Management Division and MBK’s corporate divisions (mainly TKZAK, SPAKA ) as well as Legal, Strategic Planning and other departments to solve the issues
  • Communicate and build relationships with external organizations such as banks, auditors, tax consultants, etc., to enhance the quality and accuracy of financial reporting

Mentoring in "The Citizens Foundation"

The mentoring program of The Citizens Foundation (TCF) is called the Rahbar Program (Rahbar means "guide" or "mentor"). It is one of TCF's flagship volunteer initiatives designed to mentor secondary school students and help them become confident, responsible, and productive members of society. The program aims to:
