My long-term goal is to become a nurse practitioner working in pediatric neurology or cardiology. These specialties are especially meaningful to me because I was treated in both areas as a patient, and those experiences shaped not only my interest in healthcare, but my understanding of how complex and life-altering these conditions can be for children and families. I also find these systems fascinating, both in how they function and in how closely they affect a child’s daily life. I want to be a provider that patients and families trust—someone who can guide them through some of the most challenging moments they face with compassion, clarity, and consistency. By combining my lived experience with my education, I hope to offer the kind of care and support that I once wished I had.
