Sofya Stafford

Being an EIC (Editor in Chief) for the school newspaper requires leadership skills and communication. I run the online website, and this requires fast learning skills. I work with my classmates and teacher to uphold this position. I also help my classmates when they need it. This class requires tight deadlines and activities, which I help conduct.

Things I have done within the Lariat, which is the Cooper City School Newspaper:

• Worked effectively in team environments to make the workplace more productive.
• Completed day-to-day duties accurately and efficiently.
• Conducted system analysis and testing to identify and resolve technical issues or inefficiencies.
• Utilized advanced technical skills and expertise to troubleshoot complex problems and implement solutions.
• Collaborated closely with team members to achieve project objectives and meet deadlines.

I volunteered at multiple events, which involved retail and hospitality. I took photos of children for Christmas, helped sign people up for a marathon, worked at a stand at Celebrity Chefs, which included selling cookies, and many more things. Helping at these events required great customer service skills and communication. I am able to uphold these skills, and I will carry them through each job.
