• Manufacture and perform functional tests on standard and custom strain gauge-based transducers utilizing Engineering prints, work instructions and standard department procedures
• Troubleshoot and solve problems in manufacture caused by design, documentation, processes, materials, and equipment
• Provide Technical support in new product development and continuing improvement projects including building prototypes with limited documentation, resolve technical issues as appropriate for the project
• Train peers and new hire on Extensometer products, and how to navigate Transducer systems such as SAP
• Provide technical support to other departments.

Conduct training sessions to educate participates on soldering, component placement, and other aspects of electronic assembly.

• Perform through hole soldering on flex circuit boards to form continuous strips that goes into a reel
• Perform AC and DC current testing for functionality of product
• Apply Thermal adhesive to flex circuit board to provide uniform surface contact for superior heat dissipation that keeps LEDs cooler
• Assemble PUCKS and array in numerous shapes and size customers specifications
• Perform inspection to the criteria of IPC610 class 2
• Perform light training to peers when work load permits.

• Touch up and modifications to assemblies
• Perform electronic and mechanical assembly functions utilizing hand tools and precision measuring equipment
• Build cable assemblies
• Perform quality checks per the required standards
• Ensure productive workflow, quality requirements and standards are met or exceed.
