Summary

I am a budding scholar with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Rural Development from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, and currently pursuing MS Geography at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. I am curious and eager to explore new things. My instinctive passion for the environment, and public health has for the past years greatly influenced and carved my research focus. Given the rapid and unsustainable manner of environmental changes and associated impacts, I am particularly interested in Land-use/land cover dynamics, water sustainability and crop yield, environmental/public health, urban ecology and disaster management. I have already co-authored some research papers in areas including urban morphology types and surface runoff estimation; waste management; healthcare accessibility; microplastics abundance in Africa; and Covid-19 and the marginalized.

I am an articulate professional with substantial experience in assisting professors and supporting students. I am skilled in curriculum development and assessment with understanding of different learning styles and abilities. I am smart and committed to creating safe and inclusive learning environment.

I strongly believe that with selfless commitment to individual and collective responsibilities we can make the world a better abode. This is reflective of Jane Goodall's saying, "...for if there is no God, then, obviously, it is up to us to put things rights."
