GAP in Employment

During the period from May, 2024 to September, 2024 I took a temporary hiatus from my professional career to provide full-time care for my terminally ill father. This experience, while challenging, reinforced my commitment to patient-centered care and deepened my understanding of the complexities involved in managing chronic and end-of-life conditions.

This time away from the workforce allowed me to develop my skills in empathy, communication, and holistic care, which I believe are essential qualities for a Family Nurse Practitioner. I am now eager to bring these insights and my clinical expertise back into my practice, demonstrating a renewed dedication to supporting patients and their families during critical times in their lives.

Thank you for considering my situation, and I look forward to discussing how my experiences can contribute positively to your team.
