As a teacher, I build rapport with students and families from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, creating a trusting atmosphere through sensitivities to students’ strengths, weaknesses and personal learning styles. Students are engaged through best practice-based activities designed for maximum interaction in large and small groups as well as one-on-one sessions. My experience includes working together with administrators and class teachers in curriculum and lesson planning appropriate to individual students’ learning abilities, reflecting their needs and interests, applying myself as a dedicated, resourceful and goal-driven professional educator with a solid commitment to the social and academic growth of every student.
