My years of teaching experiences include but not limited to the following:

• Middle School Grades 6-8 ESL levels 1-4
• Newcomer students aged 14+
• Teach English Proficiency levels 1-4 ESL following NJ Student Learning Standards and WIDA Can-Do Descriptors
• Work with Students with Interrupted Formal Education (SIFE)
• Co-teach and support multilingual students with disabilities (IEPs) in In-Class Resource (ICR), Pull-Out Resource (POR), and Self-Contained (SC) classes to support multilingual learners in their ELA classes
• Utilize the ESL curriculum and develop hands-on resources and engaging and interactive activities to teach the foundation of English language to students in their first year of arrival to the United States
• Create differentiated lessons to accommodate students with diverse educational backgrounds, including non-readers in their native language

During my year as a 4th grade resource teacher, I:
