  • I am proficient in the legal services process, including the entry of warrants. This specialized skill set requires extensive knowledge and expertise, such as being NCIC certified. I am adept at issuing pistol permits and conducting criminal background checks. Additionally, I have experience with the fugitive and extradition processes, including scheduling out-of-state pickups to return fugitives to our county jail.


  • I facilitate the transportation of fugitives back to the states that seek them. I enter warrants into the NCIC system and perform all job duties related to NCIC terminal operations, with the exception of dispatching calls. I can run background checks and approve pistol permits on the spot.


  • I possess considerable knowledge of gun laws, which allows me to evaluate and analyze background checks effectively in order to approve or disapprove permits for the citizens of Montgomery County. I also advise the public on laws related to issuing permits and traveling out of state. In supporting supervisors, I arrange the transport of probates, create bios, contact petitioners, and notify hospital staff and security. I assist supervisors in managing fugitive extraditions and run criminal histories for all fugitives.


  • I issue fugitive warrants to be sent for the judge's signature and balance cash drawers while maintaining accurate logs for transactions, including credit card, cash, and check payments.


  • Furthermore, I assist jail staff with basic warrant office duties and send violent crime warrants to the U.S. Marshals. I also place detainer with the Department of Corrections for all incarcerated inmates who have been issued indictments or other warrants.


  • As the backup Accounting Manager, I make daily deposits, issue funds to jail transport for Department of Corrections pickups, and provide funds to deputies for out-of-county fees.
