• 2003-2007: 6-South. Delivered proficient nursing care with our Cardiac Patients, including Open Heart patients, Cath lab patients, EP patients as well as patients with CHF, HTN and other cardiac conditions. Collaborated with healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care and support clinical protocols.

Knowledge and administration of life-saving IV medications. Titrations of cardiac medications.

• 2007-2014: 8 North and 9 North. Provided care to surgical and medical patients as well as short stay procedural patients. During this time, the focus of the service changed from complex patients to short-stay procedural patients.
• 2014-2018: Emergency Department.
• Provided skilled, timely and level-headed emergency response to critically-ill patients.
• Delivered high level of quality care to diverse populations while overseeing and triaging based on acuity and appropriate department admission.

• Provided compassionate care to our young adult population.
• Facilitated therapeutic communication, conflict resolution and crisis intervention by redirecting negative behaviors and helping patients regain or improve coping abilities. Worked with families for conflict resolution. Floated often to adult psychiatric service areas.
• 2024-Present: 9-North. Providing care to complex medical and surgical patients that often have cardiac challenges as well.

Skilled in interpretation of cardiac arrhythmias, abnormal EKG's and treatment and interventions.

• Hired as a staff nurse on Med, Surg and Ortho floor. Became charge nurse. Managed the unit and the care of the nurses under me. Responsible for all communication with Physicians as relates to patient's conditions and needs.
• Understanding of surgical and orthopedic pre and post-operative care.
