Since 1978, I have honed diverse skills, mostly centered around customer service, as I love interacting with people. I’ve owned a successful perennial business, worked as a licensed Cosmetologist, trained on SAABRE for American Airlines International Travel, managed a campaign for a JP3 Candidate, raised ten children, homeschooled five of them, worked as an Administrative Assistant for a Government Consultant, and am currently volunteering for the Benson Hospital Auxiliary at TMC. My experience also includes working on movies, fundraisers, and campaigns in the Benson area, showcasing my ability to adapt and excel in various roles.
I hold an Associate of Art and Business degree, have completed ad copy classes with Writer's Digest, and have completed an apprenticeship with a writers guild. As a sponsored writer, I’ve published two books through my company, Hill & Dell Publishing LLC, with many more in progress. My first book is set in Cochise County and tells the story of a border town boy who unknowingly adopts a stolen AKC Championship dog. It's available on Amazon, and its goal is to raise money for no-kill shelters.
For 14 years, I have been researching and writing about the 1800s Arizona Territorial Pioneer William "Billy" Fourr, whose ranch still stands in the Dragoon Mountains. I also have an article about him published in the Cochise County Historical Society Journal (Vol. 46, No. 2, Fall/Winter 2016 50th Anniversary Issue) and a book about his life due out in 2026. These experiences have led to my deep love for the Cochise County area and its residents and visitors.
