As a motivated registered nurse with a BSN degree, I am seeking a new grad position at this facility. I immigrated to the United States in 2017 and ever since, my passion for nursing has lead me in life. In my 2-year clinical experience (including the COVID-19 pandemic) I have proven knowledge and experience as a nursing student. I am an organized, and calm person with great interpersonal skills needed for professional health care milieu. I am passionate about caring for patients and willing to provide above standards levels of service as a nurse. As a nursing student and during my clinical experience, I have taken care of geriatric, pediatric, OB, and psychiatric clients. I have provided bedside care and education to patients including basic care at medical-surgical and cardiac unit, administering meds, IV fluids, and performed nursing assessment. I have learned working with Pyxis accessing medications and also performed charting nursing assessment/progress notes in the Epic system. I have been recognized as a fast learner and motivated student performing the above-mentioned skills under direct supervision of registered nurses I had the privilege working with and learning from. In addition, I have always tried to implement both professional skills and clinical duties I learned during the course of my education into my nursing practice even as a student. I believe I will be beneficial to work for your company as I am ready and willing to work in a challenging work environment where I can use my skills and abilities to the fullest, and within my scope of practice, and as a team player.
