
Provides emergency medical care as part of a volunteer EMS organization serving the FSU community. Delivers rapid, on-scene response to 911 calls and medical incidents in coordination with FSUPD and local EMS. Assists in training and onboarding new members through hands-on skills instruction, scenario-based practice, and guidance.
Served as Event Coordinator, planning and executing mental health awareness events and campus outreach initiatives to promote student well-being. Coordinated logistics, volunteers, and collaborations across campus. Selected to serve as President for the upcoming term, where I will lead executive board operations and expand campus engagement through inclusive programming and partnerships aimed at decreasing stigma around mental health and encouraging open, supportive conversations on campus.

Conducted qualitative research examining the effects of community-based art therapy on adolescent mental health, with a focus on self-esteem, emotional expression, and psychological resilience among Caribbean youth. Analyzed and coded art-based and narrative data using thematic analysis to identify protective factors related to community connection, identity, family, faith, and aspirations. Collaborated with a faculty mentor on manuscript development, with findings published in a peer-reviewed art therapy journal.
Provides professional water safety supervision and emergency response services at public aquatic facilities. Serves as a senior lifeguard within a government-contracted program that requires all guards to maintain Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certification through the state’s leading private lifeguarding agency. Trains and mentors new lifeguards through hands-on instruction, in-service drills, and scenario-based emergency simulations, while consistently meeting rigorous performance standards through multiple annual skills, rescue, and medical response evaluations.
