Level 4 NICU, 60 beds

• Provides skilled, timely and level-headed emergency response to critically-ill patients.
• Conducts ongoing monitoring and evaluations of behaviors and conditions, and updates clinical providers with current information.
• Promotes family-centered care during challenging recoveries to enhance healing and educate accordingly to increase comfort levels.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.

Level 3 NICU, 82 beds

• Manages direct care of patients, conducted assessments and documented care activities
• Prioritizes care for critically-ill patients, balancing emerging needs against core requirements
• Controls risks of deterioration with continuous monitoring and swift action on concerning changes in condition
• Administers medications intravenously, by injection, orally, through gastric tubes, and via central lines
• Serves as Backup Delivery
• Active Member of Shared Governance and Quality and Safety Committees

• Supported smooth patient flow and unit operations
• Collaborated with team to deliver high-quality care
• Measured vital signs and updated chart with current information
• Assisted patients with bathing and feeding
