• Student Council, 2017-2019, Treasurer, I was held responsible for all finances of the student body as well as making sure that the students' voices were heard.

• Growing up in a small rural town taught me many people skills in that I had to learn how to get along with people even when we had many differences. It fed my curiosity to explore the world and to expand into bigger cities to meet different people.
• Traveling outside of the country has shown me first hand the varying cultures that surround us everyday. I learned an immense amount about how the world works and how incredible this planet is. Overall, it fed my curiosity and urge to constantly learn.

• Librarian Volunteer, Darby Public Library, 09/2019-11/2020, Darby, Montana, As a volunteer, I assisted in checking out customers and their books, checking in the returned book and stocking them back into the shelves, organizing the shelves, and taking out the trash., I developed an appreciation for literature and hard work. From looking at so many books, I learned to truly be in awe of how much time and effort it takes to finish a book and get it published. I was amazed.
• Red Cross Volunteer, American Red Cross, 03/2019, Darby, Montana, I was responsible for leading the donors to their chair, assisting them to the snack area after their donation was done ensuring that they wouldn't fall, and making sure they were hydrated and given a snack before they left., I learned how to look for signs that a patient is not feeling well. On top of this, I learned an important value of customer service which is to make sure that everyone feels comfortable and welcome.

Ever since my parents were gifted a Breville Espresso Machine, I have been fascinated by the art of making coffee. And that fascination seeped into other teas and beverages including thai, chai, and earl grey teas. Most of all, I became infatuated with matcha and now make a latte every morning with my ceremonial grade matcha. I love everything about making beverages. The ice to milk ratio, the different sweeteners and how they effect the taste, how a subtle pinch of salt changes everything, and how the preparation of the tea or coffee makes all the difference such as how cold whisking vs normal whisking effects the taste and texture of matcha. It brings me a lot of joy when I create a perfect tea or coffee to go with my meal!
