Humans in Nature Project (May 2021-January 2022)

Research Intern

  • Investigated various facets of the connection between humans and the natural world.
  • Researched the relationship and advantages of combining meditation with nature interaction.
  • Wrote articles aimed at promoting nature interaction and cultivating a mutually beneficial relationship with the natural world for individuals of all ages.

Global Medical Dental Brigade (May 2019)

  • Flew to small communities in Honduras with inadequate healthcare and water supply alongside medical professionals to implement sustainable health systems.
  • Created access to sufficient clean water piped directly into homes; 3 water system constructions supported.
  • Established access to a clean bathroom by constructing a home sanitation infrastructure beside a family's home; 19 families benefited from the public health project. Had the privilege of getting to know the family and learning about their lives.
  • Brigade helped more than 5,000 individuals through patient consultations.
