Work History

Elementary & Middle School Lacrosse Coach

(11th-12th)

I coached practices 2-3 times a week while also commuting to weekend games. I also worked during the summer on a flexible schedule. During practice, I created drills, taught valuable lacrosse skills, and managed problems with players and inter-team conflicts. At games, I created strategies for my team to win, boosted player morale, and organizationally managed the positions. Additionally, I communicated with parents and board members in the background of coaching. Sometimes, this job included coordinating events and meetings.

Tutor

(10th-12)

I tutored four different children from the ages of 8-15 every week. I taught a variety of subjects such as English, science, and math. This helped promote critical thinking skills, comprehension, and the development of effective strategies to ultimately increase test scores. Also, I communicated with parents and children during outside hours to coordinate schedules.
