During this position, I had the incredible privilege to be in the hospitality department of Topgolf.
I was able to meet many people from different background and connect with them through golf.
Being able to meet so many people taught me how to make the best experience for everyone.
I learned to make a moment that mattered for someone was a one size fits one situation.
It helped me put myself out there to make my guests have the best time they could.
In March of 2022, I was promoted to an interdepartmental position called starter.
Here I was able to learn the technology behind our bay system, and I learned how to work with the ups and downs that technology inevitably has.

I became a Trainer in March after being a Golf Services Associate.
Here is where I learned what I wanted to make my career. I found the love of teaching, by being able to teach our new hires what Topgolf is during our week long training course.
I was also able watch the major transition of how and what we teach.
Being apart of such a big part of Topgolf was such a privilege to see what I have done to aid the brand.
During the summer of 2022, I was able to help hire over two hundred new associates.

After a two years of working with Topgolf. I was a Trainer and Golf Services Associate.
I wanted to branch out to the food and beverage department. Luckily, I was able to become the youngest barback being 18.
Here I learned so much about how the beverage department works.
I learned how to maintain an effective, clean, and organized environment so my bartender could work efficiently with no issues.
I also learned how to change kegs and to know how those systems work.

I worked in food service positions that dealt with food preparation, production, and proper disposal methods.
I learned how to manage disgruntled customers, and affectively rectify the situation.
After three months, I was promoted to Shift Lead.
I ran shifts with people older than me, so I learned how to work with people who are different than me in how I work and my personality.
