I have been riding and showing horses competitively in the hunters since I was five years old. So, from a very young age I had more responsibilities than most. By the time I was seven, I was cleaning out stalls and helping around the barn in anyway I could. Now I have three horses, one of which I bought when he was only four years old, and am out at the barn at least 5 days a week. I learned how to haul the horse trailer, I can give medication, treat each horse according to their needs, and overall learned how to be a responsible, independent, and hard-working woman. I may have not had a true job yet, but horses have been my job for as long as I can remember.
