Advise Board and staff on regulatory and permitting matters; cleanup of contaminated land and water; personnel matters; Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act; and matters relating to fair, ethical and transparent government.

• First and second chaired trials and led oral arguments on business and land use matters in both federal and state courts throughout California on behalf of privately held agribusiness and consumer product manufacturers.
• Drafted briefs, legal memoranda, contracts and settlement agreements.
• Developed comprehensive litigation strategies, leading to favorable settlements in numerous cases.
• Excelled in dispute resolution by skillfully negotiating settlements that minimized financial losses for the company.
• Spearheaded employee training programs to increase awareness of legal obligations and best practices.
