Native Atlantan who built a major market radio career for the ground up in morning drive on the 30+ year heritage WKLS 96 Rock. Working with Christoper Rude, syndicated talent John Boy & Billy and Bob & Tom. Coming into my own with The Regular Guys and enjoying afternoons for 2 years with Tim Rhodes. Then switching formats and experiencing Country Radio for a year. Back with The Regular Guys on ROCK100.5 until it blew up. Being the only survivor, I moved on to Bailey and Southside in the morning for 6 years. Our show blew up and once again I was the lone survivor and moved on with Axel and Southside in mornings and afternoons until the station flipped. I Owned my own bar called Southside Steve's for 5 years, and now I have launched my own Bourbon Whiskey called Legends Yeah C'mon. I've become the most recognized air talent in Georgia due to my long standing career in Atlanta and constantly being out in the public eye. I love to love and I'm a true team player with a never say die promotional schedule. I'm extremely loyal and I'm devoted to my listeners and advertisers heart and soul! Yeah C'mon!
Came on board to give the show a shot in the arm by being blue and giving the show an energy boost. Took promotions to the street and had a vehicle endorsement baring my image in cartoon fashion with my trademark, "Yeah C'mon" across the back of the tailgater on a Toyota 2006 truck. Was the 3rd voice on a morning show form 6-10am.

Sports- AM Drive I covered 3 Super Bowls and all Atlanta Braves World Series games. I attended Spring Training for the Atlanta Braves for many years and was the voice of The Atlanta Silverback's Soccer Team for 7 years doing play-by-play & hosting halftime. No stranger to monster truck and supercross & halftime appearances with Hawks, Gwinnett Gladiators, PBR, and Atlanta Braves pre-game events.
News Coverage - I have been on HLN with Susan Hendricks and entertainment reporter Chloe Melas several times covering various topics. Interviewed countless times by local news in studio and on location including being the subject of viral stories. One moment in my career was being just 300 feet away when the bomb that went off at Centennial Olympic Park during the Olympics and broadcasting live on 96 Rock for 4 hours after the incident. Traveling through Buckhead on Piedmont during the "Day Trader Shooting" and covering it on air with witnesses. In baseball news, my friendship with John Rocker allowed me to have the inside scoop over the Sports Illustrated article written by Jeff Pearlman. Covering games from NY during the Rocker issues and 9/11 anniversaries for 96Rock.
I covered the re-opening of Centennial Olympic Park after the Bombing with Emmanuel Lewis (Webster). Jesse Jackson picked him up while live on 96 Rock and our mic flag was on National News. Our morning show was able to interview Jesse while he was also on CNN. Elian Gonzalez (Miami Fl) story was covered by me after spending the night with the family across the street. I luckily met Shepard Smith who helped a ton giving me his interviews after his network finished with them.
Live Events -I've introduced Metallica at Truist Park in front of 50,000 to Jelly Roll with just 30 people in attendance. Charity rides for 20yrs. on my Fatboy Harley Davidson, camped and broadcasted for 20+years at Atlanta Motor Speedway while having many drivers come into Southside Steve's; my bar which was a 20 min ride away from the track. Spoke from the dirt for many Motocross and Monster Truck events in front of 65,000 people. Opened for Charlie Sheen per his request after our interview that day during his "Tiger Blood Tour" and local media descended on my home in downtown Atlanta for interviews about him and what I was going to do that night at the Fox Theatre. I also warmed up the crowd for George Carlin at The Fabulous Fox. My honor to get ordained online to be the first to marry two lovely lesbians in Atlanta once it was legal. Countless stage intros thru 12 years of Music Midtown in the ATL. and concerts all over town for 25 years. The best, the coolest, The Allman Brothers because I was backstage with Greg and the guys and Greg had his hand on my shoulder when walking on to the stage and starting play the second I introduced the band. My true honor was being the first to play Collective Soul on the air ever, during my college radio days on 88.5fm on the 100 watt voice of Album 88! Ed Roland singer of Collective Soul thanked me when he was inducted into The Georgia Music Hall Of Fame.
Biggest Interviews for me - One on One with John Travolta, Kevin Costner, Mark Wahlberg, and Phil Nickelous.
Biggest Radio Stunts - Living on a billboard for 7 days because of a bet with Steve Smith of the Atlanta Hawks, crash landing in the 20th Anniversary Turner Broadcasting Hot Air Balloon while broadcasting, I was also the only person to sit in every seat at The Omni in Atlanta before it was torn down. Omni was home to ALL Concerts, Hawks Basketball, Atlanta Flames Hockey, and any big event that came to Atlanta including Elvis!
Married- After Atlanta living vicariously through me on-air and having to hear me talking about me dating NFL Cheerleaders, Playmates, and Kim from House Wives of Atlanta, I found the right one. Married Amanda in 2014 and we have two boys, Brooks and Parker. Motorcycles and sports cars have been sold to now live in Milton Ga. in a GREAT school district with crazy taxes.
Lastly and most important is my career of 30 years in Atlanta letting me be able to do all these incredible things.
I only represent the best at what they do and my listener's deserve the best. I won't endorse a client just for money.
I represent and am affiliated with Ted Jenkin of Oxygen Financial, D Geller and Son Jewelry, Anderson Center for Hair, Diamond Vision, Shelton Fireworks, Ox Law, (Divorce Attorney) George Stein, (DUI and Personal Injury) Steelhorse Law, (Downed Bikers) QC Kinetix, Legends Distillery and Spirits USA, Camp ASCCA, Children's Health Care of Atlanta, Boy Scouts of America and any golf course that will let me play for free.
