Work History
Senior Technical Designer
Blue Origin
Cape Canaveral, USA
04.2022 - 02.2025
Supporting the New Glenn program, in the Test and Flight Operations Group from LC-36 at CCSFS. Contributed to the engineering design on a variety of the mechanical and fluid systems used in ground support of New Glenn’s Transporter Erector (TE) using Creo Parametric 11.0 and Windchill PLM.
Created fully defined engineering drawing packages from conceptual ideas as well as revising existing systems in collaboration with mechanical, fluid, and analysis engineers.
Applied expertise in hardware selection, materials, weld specifications, fluid fittings, and GD&T.
Led the design and redesign on a variety of different projects and recognized for my ability to see project through the engineering life cycle, including gathering field notes, working with welders, machinist, technicians and configuration management before peer reviewed release.
Consistently the most productive team member, completing the highest number of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and new drawing releases per review cycle.
Supporting the New Glenn program, in the Test and Flight Operations Group from LC-36 at CCSFS.
Associate Engineer III, Testing Operations Services Contract (TOSC)

Supporting the Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) program, in the Design Service Fluids Group. Contributed to the creation of fluids and mechanical drawings for readying NASA’s Mobile Launcher and its umbilicals, for Artemis 1 launch of the SLS rocket as well as supporting efforts needed for Artemis 2 and a second Mobile Launcher (ML2) using Creo and Windchill.
Appointed primary Point of Contact for all design changes concerning the Orion Service Module Umbilical, several changes have been added over the years to meet NASA’s Interface Control Document (ICD) requirements of the Orion Control Module, including the additions of multiple pressure and temperature transducers on GN2 and Breathing Air systems as well as relief valves, insulation and nitrogen purge locations of potentially hazardous equipment.
Built strong relationships with NASA and TOSC engineers as someone who is knowledgeable and asks the right questions to get project out the door quickly.
Contributed to the design of a tile bonding tool and testing equipment needed for installation of the last four thermal protection tiles post installation of the Orion’s Launch Abort System on the Orion space capsule.
Contributed to the design of new servicing equipment of the Portable Breathing Apparatuses used on the International Space Station as they are cycled back to earth when new ISO cleanliness standards were introduced.
Working with a single expert cryo engineer, was the lone designer in the creation and release of a fully defined package for fabrication, installation details, and kit for the cryo pressure testing system of the ML2’s Exploration Upper Stage Umbilical (EUSU) at the Launch Equipment Testing Facility (LETF) in just 4 short months.
Experienced and knowledgeable of NASA’s engineering life cycle process as well as Windchill navigation of the release and revision processes and PMN structure, having built strong relationships with the configuration management team I was seen as someone who is organized and gets drawing packages through the system quickly.
Recognized in my group as a great source for information in Creo and Windchill and appointed acting group manager on multiple occasions while regular manager was away.

Company Overview: Supporting the Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) program. Contributed to the creation of mechanical drawings for integration of many of the systems on NASA’s Mobile Launcher and its umbilicals needed for the Artemis 1 launch of the SLS rocket.
Went from new Creo user to highly efficient team member in a very short period.
Primary design work for GSE integration onto the Mobile Launcher included all manors of steel structural supports for cabinets of all shapes and sizes, piping support, cable trays, camera housings, guard rails and grating.
Supported the development of the Facility Relations and Space and Weight design packages which covered the major interface components of the Mobile Launcher for reference during operations at all its seated locations, ML/Crawler, ML/VAB High Bay 3, ML/Park-site and ML/Pad39B.
Space and Weight drawings are a reference for providing critical information necessary for weight-load limits, personnel and equipment restrictions during core stage processing on the VAB transfer aisle and high bay 4 as well as weight-load limits during vehicle processing operations on every retractable platform of VAB high bay 3.
