Summary

I am a current junior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington pursuing a dual Ph.D.-MD degree with a concentration in neuropharmacology. I aim to become a research scientist and provide scientifically proven modalities of treatment to those suffering from addiction while applying these modalities in a clinical setting. My current research is surrounding the effects of violent exposure on social media and social media addiction. Additionally, I plan to study the cross-cultural differences within social media addiction to better mitigate the changing environment of mental health services.
