Came across an opportunity in Digital LED Screens and took it! Started a business geared towards led screens in school gymnasium’s and sport fields, teamed with selling/installing scoreboard software. Main jobs have been, new business and customer relationships, advertising and most importantly running and wiring cat wire to screens/remotes, tying in sound systems, mounting/wiring/configure and programming led screen boards.

Creating/Starting a Repair/Accessory business from scratch. This has including advertising, making/managing Facebook page, in-depth diag/ mechanical skill, taking/handling phone calls from start to finish (a call in or following up on a lead, to explaining what is needed and getting the ok, to calling up customer with new issues or the great news of vehicle is set and came in under budget) , ordering parts (dealing with wrong parts and labor claims, creating new business relationships with suppliers, dealing with all aspects of finances, constantly learning new supplier systems and furthering shop programs/systems such as dealer level programming to name a few of my daily task.

Originally hired in as a welder/fabricator to build aluminum trailers and as time went on I was fortunate enough to move up to supervisor position. In this position I managed roughly 8 guys, maintained stock, ordered parts, sold and took new orders, found new dealers, problem solved, was quality control, maintained/repaired machines (fork truck, cnc plasma table (which I also wrote programs for), dealt with customers, helped with schedules and other daily activities. As we got into a productive rhythm and I would have free time, I would help with repairs on golf carts (A sister company located in same building with same owner) this mainly came down to in-depth diag that other workers struggled with such as on gas engines having oil consumption issues, not charging, not starting and on battery carts having low power/fast drain on batteries, carts not working or only driving in 1 direction and when I wasn’t doing those things you would most likely find me out running the fork truck stacking trailers to get ready to get shipped out!

Got hired in a boat mechanic responsible for diagnosing issues and repairing problems, picking up/delivering boats, shrink wrapping for winter and also removing and replacing body panels and interiors. After an opening came about, I moved to supervisor/service advisor. This included all the old responsibilities if time allowed, along with scheduling boat transportation, new boat warranties, moving/storing/stacking boats ranging from 2000$ to new 200,000$ wake board boats with a massive diesel powered fork truck. I would schedule guys work, direct on repairs, order parts, stock shelves, take calls, sell jobs, billing and more!
