while at potters I had to keep the yard cleaned and stocked. I also handle all delivery's and loaded and off loaded all the trucks that came to the store. I was also cross trained to work in the store as well so I knew how to run the register, make keys and learned a little bit about the paint mixer. before I left I attended a Trager grill event at the store in Jamestown learning how to up sale there grills and use them properly.
The main reason I was hired was to do deliveries for the store but I’ve since then done more that. I have learned to make rugs and do some minor electrical work. I also do alot of maintenance for the store.
While at Wendy’s I learned to do counts , unload truck, help the general manager do inventory once a week, and I made sure that I counted waste and reported it. I made sure I learned every position so that I could answer anyone that had questions and help anyone that was doing it wrong.
My position required me to take charge of the store when no Manager was there. I had the ability to open and close the store as well as access to the safe. And some of the things I had to do were restock the shelves, decide weather or not we would take in an item, and push the idea of selling product.
