From eleven years old until leaving for college at eighteen I did competitive swimming on two different teams. Started local with Calvert Aquatics Club (CAC) at the Edward T. Hall Aquatics center and switched to Naval Academy Aquatics Club (NAAC) at the age of fourteen. I would swim six days a week for two hours or more completing practices in and out of the water. I would do these practices after school ended and would have to do school work in the car rides up and back plus time at the house after practice.
