Summary

I am highly motivated and like to let that show in my work. I self-start projects that need to get done without being reminded that things need to happen. I work well independently or in a team environment. I have attended leadership development courses such as Basic Leadership Course (BLC) and have completed the online training known as Distributed leader course 1 (DLC1) and Distributed Leader Course 2 (DLC2), as well as other training that has helped me work well with others and develop good communication skills. I have 5 years of experience using common hand and power tools and a variety of test and measurement devices to make mechanical repairs. I have experience reading and interpreting parts lists, manufactures’ repair manuals, diagrams, and electrical schematics that I have developed over my years in the National Guard and my time as a diesel technician intern. While serving in D Co. 1-112th AVN BN maintenance section I have supervised the mechanics in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems of the unit’s vehicles and repairing faults found. I am familiar with Fedlog and can cross reference part numbers with NSN’s to annotate parts that need to be ordered for work orders. I have completed a large number of vehicle inspections before, during, and after using vehicles in convoy operations. I demonstrate an understanding of the makeup and operation of the various individual systems that the state of North Dakota maintains and their interrelationships.
