Music, Writing, Poetry, Animals, Nature

Creativity and innovation is at the core of who I am. Being acutely aware of my identity has evolved over time, partly out of necessity, but also, through understanding the profound impact of grief and loss.

I have found that victory has become sweeter through the sting of knowing loss, first. Love has become more purposefully genuine, after grieving loss of it and not having enough "time." And....for me, creating has been key in finding or recovering the mental/emotional wellness and fortitude necessary to just "keep going", especially in a post pandemic era where H.O.P.E (Hold On Pain Ends) is not as abundantly free or felt.

  • Nature allows me to see gratitude and appreciation for what we as humans do have the ability to "freely" enjoy.
  • Animals remind me that reasoning is a gift that humans can choose to exercise for good.
  • Writing aids in the spiritual or emotional mirror or "thermometer" needed in order to align/realign personal expectations, goals, true intentions, and feelings.
  • Music is my very first language. I am able to create music as an expression of worship and/or service to the Higher Power that created me. I have also used music at times to serve others. Giving myself away allows me to avoid becoming "too much" of anything.....

In summary, all of these things serve as wellness tools or personal aids when there is a need for creation, recreation, rejuvenation, or revival in my person holistically. My perspective, outlook, and/or worldview can massively shift through the utilization of these innovative pathways, in order to better serve myself and/or fellows.

Necessity is truly the "Mother" of invention.
