- Helped launch very first FIRST Lego League Explore Team for students attending Lannon Elementary School in Hamilton School District, where a curriculum was created and members of the Hamilton High School FIRST Robotics Team regularly helped these children in building different interactive STEM models and helped the students learn about the principles of STEM in a safe nurturing environment, where they then attended a FIRST Explore Festival later on in the year.
- Crafted a high-quality presentation for a panel of judges at our 2 competitions of the year, these presentations are meant to help show judges how our team best display the core values of FIRST relating to our development of making robots, contributing to a positive and constructive team environment, and how we spread STEM to our community and younger generations.
- Captivated attention with dynamic speaking styles and skillful use of visual aids.
- Increased audience interaction by utilizing social media platforms before, during, and after events for real-time engagement.
- Gained many planning and time management skills by helping in hosting and assisting in multiple events with the rest of the Impact Team to help show a variety of students in elementary schools and professional companies how STEM is in every aspect of life. Some events we did was assisting in elementary School STEM Nights, Professional demonstrations that involved our sponsors, and also hosting the Sussex Scrimmage where we invite 30 First Robotic Competition Teams to compete in a mini competition to iterate and test the robots they have worked don, and also show our community and general public what we strive to achieve in FIRST Robotics programs.
