• Currently heading factory improvement projects to support Model S3XY production & logistics team by installing underground electrical, structural, mechanical & life safety utilities and managing general contractors and site inspections with AHJs for permit close out prior to power up & commissioning.

• Responsible for coordinating pre-construction activities such as design reviews, funding estimation & roll up, bidding process & vendor onboarding through proper delineation of scope of work and deliverables.

• Individually closed out a total of 250 legacy building permits throughout the facility by coordinating with AHJ’s for site inspections, setting & tracking project deliverables for general contractors and maintaining project file documentation as part of Tesla’s critical infrastructure projects.

• Minimized budget constraints & proposed cost improvement techniques to install new cafeteria space from scratch and closed out project, saving roughly $140,000 in total approved costs for scope.

• Led Legacy investigations on a 30yr old system supplying Co2 to Model SX primer & base coat booths and validating operation and commissioning in presence of AHJs by performing discharge & room integrity testing.

• Leading efforts to identify & eliminate factory safety risk items throughout the factory by installing life safety systems around the plant assembly area, thereby improving employee & machinery safety as part of continuous safety improvement process.

• Established quality procedures as part of Tesla’s critical infrastructure projects by coordinating with the City of Fremont to close out permits through DMAIC methodologies, analyzing floor plans, and documenting work instructions using MS Office.

• Designed system portfolios & subsequent data collection to maintain checklists for system completion and energization.

• Implemented ISO 9001:2015 QMS system by imparting training programs conducting internal audit programs.

• Reduced assembly time by 35% by conducting SPC analysis on equipment and commissioned the machine for future use.

• Assisted Quality Engineer in brainstorming ideas for visual techniques and underwent training in engine assembly sections.

• Achieved 15% reduction in engine assembly time using 5S methodologies and root cause analysis was documented.
