As the Coding/Website Officer at CAD4Kidz, a 501(c) non-profit organization focused on spreading STEM and CAD education to youth, I oversee the creation and management of the organization's website. Additionally, I play a key role in formatting STEM curriculum into online courses, ensuring they are free and accessible to the public.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developed and maintained the CAD4Kidz website, optimizing for user experience and accessibility.
• Formatted STEM curriculum into interactive online courses, utilizing e-learning platforms and multimedia elements.

Developed and implemented cutting-edge AI algorithms utilizing computer vision techniques to detect and diagnose common eye diseases, including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and cataracts. Designed and trained deep learning models capable of accurately identifying disease indicators in ocular images, enabling early detection and intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Created a research project aimed at leveraging AI to autonomously diagnose eye diseases without the need for direct medical supervision, particularly beneficial in underserved regions lacking access to specialized healthcare professionals.
• Engineered and optimized convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and other machine learning models to analyze retinal images and identify pathological features indicative of various ocular conditions.
• Collaborated with interdisciplinary teams of ophthalmologists, computer scientists, and healthcare professionals to gather and annotate large-scale datasets for model training, ensuring robust performance across diverse patient populations.

As the Vice President of Outreach for the LHS DECA chapter during the 2023-2024 academic year, I spearheaded the marketing efforts of our organization, focusing on effectively communicating with our members and promoting our activities both within and beyond the school community.

• Acted as the primary liaison between the chapter leadership and members, conveying important information, updates, and reminders via various communication channels such as email, newsletters, and meetings.
