• SQL/MP Query optimization - Analyzes long-term database performance trends to optimize database and application performance
• OSS (Unix) ITP WEB Support and Middleware MQ - Configures server to work with middleware, web servers and Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) tools.
• Tandem Systems Administration - COLDLOADS and Tandem System Generation (SYSGEN) - Evaluates new release of operating systems and database management software and suggests processes for migrating to new releases.
• Hardware and software installation and Third-Party support of Xygate/Mars/ETINET/Soap/Rest - Designs and engineers enterprise tools in conjunction with overall Infrastructure strategy. Provides full lifecycle technical project leadership from requirements gathering through implementation and administration.
• Support Golden Gate Replication - Resolves database performance, capacity, replication, and other distributed data issues.
• Support Disaster Recovery – Ensures high availability, security, and integrity of assigned databases and servers. Evaluates database architecture, backup, fault tolerance and security procedures and recommends enterprise-wide standards.
• Developing TACL Macro’s and System Programming Support.
• Performance analysis, tuning and capacity planning.
• Prognosis support/Automation and maintenance
• Partners with IT and Business leadership to interpret needs of enterprise into Infrastructure solutions.
• Identifies emerging technologies that can meaningfully extend systems to better support user needs, participate in prototyping use of those technologies, and support decision-making regarding technical direction.

• Document procedures and Cold Load Nonstop Servers
• Apply preventive/corrective SPR's to base operating system.
• Document and Dry run disaster recovery procedures with various other teams.
• Participate in IP Clim Project to Regroup IP's and migrate from legacy adapters.
• Maintaining SQL/MP Database by Partitioning using Partner and SQL/XPRESS Tools
• Re-organizing database files using FUP or third-party tools like MARS etc.
• Configure Golden Gate Sync Files and report any Out of Sync Files monthly.
• Migrating or Moving Nonstop SQL/MP and Enscribe Database using SQLCI & FUP load utility.
• Analyzing performance statistics using MEASURE, Prognosis, and third-party monitoring tool (MOMI).
• Creating Prognosis Displays for Various Critical applications and configuring appropriate Thresholds\Alerts.
• Maintain ITP WebServer Environment and Deploy new Codes.
• Pathway maintenance using TACL Scripting
• Configure critical subsystems like TMF Audit Volumes and Backup utility.
• Participate in Trouble Shooting Incident Management Calls
• Coordinating with operations and scheduling team regarding any technical issues.
• Investigate and isolate production run problems, perform error procedures and correct abnormal terminations on related production processing errors.
• Handling change and problem management for the process.
• Customize, Automate, and maintain the operating systems environment for Daily Operations using TACL Scripting.
• Upgrading and backing out J – Series operating systems to latest version available.
• Install Customize and Maintain Nonstop SQL\MP Database by adding and altering defines and DDL's.
• Maintaining Enscribe Format 1&2 Relative\Key Sequenced database files.
• Participate in Nonstop data Classification to enhance security.
• Install, Maintain and Upgrade Websphere Middleware, MQ on the Nonstop
• Backup and Restoration of System Critical OS and Database files using third party tools like ETINET backbox for Virtual tape mounting.
• Create and maintain complete startup and shutdown of all subsystems and software's used during nonstop tandem Cold Load.
• Participate in Infrastructure and Hardware design.

• Analyzing performance statistics using MEASURE and third-party monitoring tool (MOMI, Prognosis).

• Participate in Infrastructure and Hardware design.

• Maintaining SQL/MP Database by Partitioning using DBA\M Manager Tool, SQLCI\MXCI and SQL Xpress.

• Re-organizing database files using FUP, SQLCI, MXCI or third-party tools like MARS, Partner etc.

• Install, Customize and Maintain Nonstop SQL\MP Database by adding and altering defines and DDL's.

• Database performance tuning by creating indexes, views and partitions on disks based on Reads\Writes and volume of growth\capacity.

• Capacity planning using tools like Discover.

• Handling the change and problem management for the process.

• Responsible for creation, maintenance, and updates to the asset management team.

• Receive Express Notice, updates on latest HOT STUFFS and act proactively on any operating system bugs.

• Document and Dry run the disaster recovery procedures with various other teams.

• Upgrading and backing out the J\H\S – Series operating systems to a newer version annually.

• Installation, customization and roll-out of Tandem Software Product Revisions (SPR) according to best practices.

• Customize and maintain the operating systems environment for Daily Operations using TACL\TAL Systems programming.

• Apply preventive/corrective SPR's to base operating system.

• Create and maintain complete startup and shutdown of all subsystems and software's used during tandem Cold Load.

• Implementation of Virtual disk drive system (SMF's) and regrouping of Network IP's.

• Participate in Tandem Migration project to upgrade the existing hardware to the latest NS series system.

• Upgrade IP clims from G4 to G6.

• Co-ordinate and lead tandem Disaster Recovery test bi-annually.

• Maintaining Enscribe Format 1&2 Relative\Key Sequenced database files.

• Using Enform to generate reports.

• Install, License and maintain all third-party software's like (Xygate Audit\Telemail\Telefax\Mars\Discover\MOMI\Tele2000\ETINET etc).

• Research, evaluate and install variety of software products on Tandem Servers.

• Providing LEVEL 3 Support for tandem related hardware and software products.

• Backup and Restoration of System Critical OS and Database files using third party tools like ETINET backbox for Virtual tape mounting.

• Pathway maintenance, debugging, monitoring and operation.

• Configure critical subsystems like RDF (Remote Database Facility), TMF and Backup utility.

• Coordinating with operations and scheduling team regarding any technical issues.

• Investigate and isolate production run problems, perform error procedures and correct abnormal terminations on related production processing errors.

• Provide Root Cause Analysis for Severity 1 & 2 tickets.

• Attend weekly problem and change control meeting calls.

• Create weekly status reports using Powerpoint, Excel, and Word and analyze team’s performance based on the Service Level agreements.

• Document and maintain all vendor contacts and licensing information's.

• Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software.

• Document and maintain tandem security procedures using tools like Xygate Audit View etc.

• Control versions of the application programs using NCI Control software.

• Install, Customize and Maintain critical Tier 2 interface on tandem servers (Middleware, MQ) as a tandem MQ administrator.

• Application Pathway\System and Replication (RDF) performance monitoring, tuning, and testing.

• Migrating, Moving Nonstop SQL/MP and Enscribe Database using SQLCI & FUP load utility.

• Lead a team of three in carrying out daily operational activities and provide escalated support.

• Participate in quarterly system SOX Audits and report generation.

• Audit tickets resolved by tandem support teams monthly.

• Configure E4SA, FESA, G4SA, ATM etc. adapters on the tandem servers.

• Configure SWANS, TCPIP and Expand lines between multiple systems.
