1. Anole BESS Project, 240MW/480MWhr (Sungrow batteries, JSHP MV transformers) located at Seagoville, Texas.(4/3/2023 - 6/25/2025).
- I worked as electrical design engineer for this BESS (Battery Energy Storage system) project from the initial stage to IFC, and did periodic site visits until the BESS project was built.
- Coordinating with the field team and other disciplines during the construction process. Once the site is built, be involved with the commissioning team throughout the process.
- Assisted the procurement team by reviewing equipment specifications, including MV transformers, Circuit breakers, T bodies, Surge Arresters, Grounding terminals, DC terminals, and UPS.
2. Community Solar - '6' 5MW (First Solar Series 6 PV modules, Solectria Inverter, WTEC row harness, PVH tracker) at Albuquerque, New Mexico (4/8/2024 - Currently working)
- I worked as an electrical design engineer for 5MW solar plant (ASG4 and XCEL1) from the initial stage to IFC, which is currently under construction. Involved in the design review of a 3- 5 MW solar plant from the initial stage to IFC.
- Supporting the procurement team by reviewing and approving the equipment used in the solar power plant (includes AC Combiners, Load break disconnect, Transformers, T bodies, Surge Arrester).
Software used :
- Used CYMCAP 8.1 Rev 03 software for performing an ampacity study for underground MV cables.
- ETAP software for performing a load flow study to check active and reactive power at the POI. Short circuit study to analyze the fault at various buses.
3. Bayou Teche Solar 125MW (First Solar Series 7 PV modules, Sungrow inverter, ATI tracker) at Louisiana (5/5/2025 - Currently working)
- Currently working on PDP (project development packages) for a 125MW solar power plant, which involves MV routing, DC routing for a sample section and do a Bill of Quantity to help the estimation team to bid for this project.
- Modified the PVsyst model by updating the losses and the first series solar setting according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
