Main responsibilities are to support students with mild to severe behaviors that are not able to be managed in the classroom. I am able to use de-escalation techniques, empathy, and experience to calm them down to a manageable level.

I work with teachers, parents, and administration to provide a safe place for these students to de-escalate, feel safe, and be heard. I teach social skills that help them learn to make good choices and learn to de-escalate themselves.

I am also the 504 Coordinator and work with students who need accommodations to access their academics and becomes successful in the classroom. I work closely with the 504 Coordinator over the State of Utah to ensure the students are getting what they need to be successful at school.
