• Develops curriculum for various courses in the Outdoor Adventure Leadership bachelor's and master's degree program
• Delivers lessons in the classroom and in a field setting
• Facilitate the development of intrapersonal, interpersonal, and technical skills in the classroom and in a field setting

• Leading and instructing wilderness medical courses in various locations local to Montana and out of state.

• Facilitates the instruction of various college-level courses while in the field, including Environmental
• Science and Outdoor Recreation.
• Manage travel, food, lodging, and activities for 15 college students
• Designs and executes outdoor expeditions, facilitating service projects and overseeing budgets
• Works with local partners, guides, and organizations revolving around Environmental Sustainability

Works with program chairs to coordinate, create and update the quarterly schedule for classes in the
health education, Physical education, Outdoor Adventure leadership, and Military Science
departments
● Arranges and attends site visits at job fairs, regional universities, and academic conferences
● Hires, trains, and supervises student workers and graduate assistants in the completion of “Office
Management and Reception, and Administrative Support tasks.
● Assists director and program chairs in the initiation of tasks, contracts, and agreements
● Helps with logistical arrangements for OAL field trips
● Ensures timely, accurate, and appropriate follow-up on program-related inquiries from current and
prospective students

• Prepared course syllabus and developed curriculum
• Delivered lessons in Leave no Trace Outdoor Ethics, risk management, trip logistics, wilderness survival, hydrology, navigation, and menu planning
• Planned, prepared, and implemented outdoor activity courses, including hiking, sea kayaking, snorkeling, and caving
