Responsible for directing, organizing, and developing the hospitals hemodialysis program. Implementing policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective dialysis for patients in the rehab setting. Representative for the dialysis program within the hospital management, meetings and through general education in the hospital. And partnership with all interdisciplinary teams, communicates and reports patient concerns and changes with the clinical team to include physicians in a timely manner.

I also serve in the role of a backup, supervisor, and resource nurse. I am involved in the wound care, respiratory department, Infection Control , committees, as well as quality assurance.

• I provide direct patient care to assigned patients and assist in the care of other patient’s as needed
• As a dialysis LPN I complete assessments of the patients in Pre, interim and post treatment, and document findings appropriately
• I am responsible for technical aspects of dialysis procedures and making modifications to treatment plans as indicated or directed
• I can work independently while achieving quality patient care with therapeutic relationships with our patients
• I administer medications and immunizations as needed or prescribed
• I assist in reinforcing educational needs of the patient including nutrition, medications, and the disease process

• I worked as an LPN and was part of a multidisciplinary team in a rehabilitative hospital setting
• As part of a multidisciplinary team, we worked to reach the individual goals and care plans of each patient, assisting them on the road to recovery and getting them back home to their families and communities
• I provided direct patient care to my assigned patients and assisted in the care of other patients as needed under the supervision of a registered nurse

• I worked as an equipment technician as part of a multidisciplinary team in a respiratory outpatient program
• In my job, I was responsible for tracking, scheduling, and maintaining the respiratory equipment for over 700 patients across the state of both North Dakota, Devil’s Lake, and Minnesota
• I worked independently under a supervisor in cleaning, maintaining and testing respiratory equipment
• I was also responsible for documenting the location of the equipment, locating or delivering or picking up equipment
• I assisted various departments in delivery and completing orders other than my own, that made it more cost effective for the overall department

• I worked as an EMT-B/ Communications tech at a Level 2 trauma center/hospital setting
• In this role I worked in the hospital’s dispatch call center and had various roles and responsibilities
• Our dispatch center was responsible for Rapid response calls, interhospital transports on our ALS ambulance, Response to medical calls on hospital property campus alerts outside of the hospital and behavioral Unit transfers in a specialized van to other behavior facilities
• Our key role in the hospital dispatch center was receiving incoming calls from ambulances, police and flight units of patient care coming into the E.R
• And paging out the appropriate team and locations for advance notification of arrivals and etas
• Other roles we were responsible for is gathering information and dispatching out the NICU team, assisting in dispatching and continued monitoring of location of Bayflite helicopter
• We also were the paging system for Trauma alerts, Stemi alerts, Cardiac alerts and responsible for calling the ON call surgeons
• Our staff could be used for assistance in the Pediatric and Adult emergency departments and any Trauma as needed

• I worked in the prehospital setting on a private ambulance responding to medical calls for the city to Tampa and Hillsborough County
• We would assess, provide interventions and treatments during transport to our clients according to the protocols set by our medical director
