  • I got to go to robotics training in Ohio. Where I learned anything from troubleshooting, capabilities of the robots and how to operate them.
  • I was one of four people ( 1 for each shift ) that was involved since the very beginning.
  • We were involved in a large part of the safety not only planning but in implementing safeguards, training manuals, and learning every in and out of the entire system.
  • Automated robot trainer. Training new employees and maintaining senior employees. How to operate robots, troubleshoot and general maintenance for each class of robot.
  • I was also a certified forklift trainer and I would recertify people for the shift I was assigned to.
  • My main task other than training was to ensure that both lines or 10 robots stayed running at optimal efficiency.

  • Before getting into the robotics department. I was in quality and testing.
  • My responsibility was to test new products coming on to the product run list. There was daily testing in addition to the initial testing on certain products. To ensure for our customers that our products were in specs for their needs. Anywhere from moisters to yardage etc.
  • We cooked hundreds of units of glass at a time. We had 42 very large ovens. I was in charge of making sure the ovens were functioning correctly staying at the correct temperatures, the correct products enter the correct ovens. There are many different cook times and temperatures of the different ovens. So it was crucial that the right product go in the right ovens.
  • Troubleshooting small mechanical issues with the ovens and my area was also part of my duties.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong sense of personal responsibility.

  • Skilled at working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • When I first started my career at Owens Corning. I would inspects and pack glass onto pallets.
  • I would look for a defects, discoloration, mixed products anything out of the normal. This position was the last line of defense for the customers for any defects or issues before leaving the facility.
  • I shortly moved into transport or forklift driving. I would pick up completed pallets take them to wrapping area. I would put data from that particular pallets into a spreadsheet then print shipping labels. I drive them to warehouse and staging them for the trucks that would be loaded on.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong sense of personal responsibility.
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.

  • I quickly became a backup working lead.
  • I oversaw a 25 person crew.
  • My task were daily paperwork, scheduling, safety and quality. As well for the people I was working with and for the products we were sending out. I was there to Ensure my shift ran officially as possible and everybody went home to their families in the condition they came to work in.
  • Any issues that would arise during a shift employee-based or manufacture based.
  • I loved the challenges that would arise through day. The differences l could make.
